A brief overview of the recent developments:
- Iranian-backed forces have deployed reinforcements to Marnaz and the nearby Minaq airbase, near the contact line with the Turkish-occupied area in northern Aleppo;
- On September 8, Turkish and US forces are expected to carry out a joint patrol in northeastern Syria;
- The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) downed two armed UAVs and brought down a third one over the al-Ghab Plains;
- Denmark is set to deploy troops in northeastern Syria to support U.S.-led coalition operations in the war-torn country.
