A brief overview of the recent developments in Syria:
- Russian warplanes struck ISIS positions near the village of Rasafah;
- One Turkish soldier died due to injuries that were received in a gunfire attack on a Turkish military patrol in southern Idlib;
- Turkish-backed militants’ artillery targeted SAA positions in the city of Maarat al-Numan;
- Syrian Arab Army (SAA) artillery targeted Turkish backed forces in the Zawiyah Mountain area;
- Two Turkish soldiers were wounded in an attack carried out by unknown persons near the city of Ariha.
