The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), supported by the US-led coalition, have reached the Old Mosque inside the Old Raqqah area in the ISIS-held city of Raqqah. The SDF have also attempted to advance in Husham Abdulmalik and Rawdah where clashes are now ongoing.

The news that IS had retaken Husham Abdulmalik seems to be either fake news or an expression of hope by anti SDF trolls. Either way, part of a fight like this is that it not only consists of advances, but there will be counterattacks, of which some can be successfull.
Aside from good news like reinforcements, additional heavy arms, a more worrysome news is that some FSA related forces (Elite) have a somewhat lower breaking point than regular SDF forces and just fled in some cases when under heavy counterattack.
All in all, it seems likely that FSA forces will be less and less relied upon. New SDF fighters are joining in large numbers and so is their training. Yesterday some 500+ finished their training in several locations.
Raqqah will fall while an all out attack by Turkey is, in the present setting, getting to be less and less likely.
