The Kurdish-dominated Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) are still struggling to catupre the city of Raqqah from ISIS terrorists. The main clashes are now ongoing in the city center. According to pro-SDF sources, ISIS holds a large number of hostages in the municipal stadium in the area. The sources argue that this is a key problem for the SDF advance.

As of 10.10.2011 23.59 hrs, there is no real fighting anymore.
There is an (unofficial) ceasefire and many IS and their families are surrendering, civillians are let go.
