Last weekend, Syrian government forces restored control over the the command section and the section 446 of the Armored Vehicle Base in the Eastern Ghouta region near the city of Damascus. These areas had been temporarily seized by Ahrar al-Sham and its allies.

After the operations against ISIS in Deir Ez Zor conclude then SAA and allies could start East Ghouta operation.Removing this pocket will bring a lot of manpower and the threat to the capital will be over.
Absolutely… I have too been waiting for the good guys, the SAA, to finally tackle the pockets in western Syria, especially this one and the one between Hama and Homs…
