The problem with Israel haters is that they want more Jewish dead. That would make them feel better. 10 Israeli dead (including 2 Arab Muslims and one Indian Hindu). 200+ Palestinian dead. Hamas and PIJ thought they would get away with a few missiles. This is now war. They will pay an enormous price, militarily and financially. Hope it was worth it. On the bright side, everyone in Hamas who survives will get a promotion since their superiors are all dead; and all the widows and orphans will get food baskets of Israeli produce paid by Qatar. Yeah, totally worth it.

The exact opposite is true. Israel is like a murderours gang pushing into residential areas and killing with little discrimination. If here and there some of the residents resist, you cry foul? Pathetic. Your post, like so many others, however, shows that people in Israel and their supporters are worried. And for a good reason. Palestinians are ready to pay the highest price for their freedom; are Israelis ready to pay a price for their comfort? Importantly, there is always the chance of real mutual participation and hence peace in a common, equitable state. I for one mourn every dead that Israel’s folly causes, no matter what religious or ethnic label they wear.

About 500 Hamas rockets failed and fell on Gaza, killing and injuring their own people. Not to mention that Hamas is firing rockets from civilian areas, then run away when Israel bombs those possitions. Those are then casulties caused by Hamas, not Israel.
