The situation in Ukraine is that the shitty Russian army is getting destroyed so badly that Ukraine’s defense minister had to refute reports that Kherson was about to be retaken by Ukrainian forces. Maybe they got a little too overexcited.
In the Donbast region, the UA seems to be in a general retreat for 30 kilometers or so. They might set up a new defensive line at Bakmut in the South going NW. There seems to be adequate roads in the area to supply the UA, though it is still at the far Eastern end of the country.
