Debt financing of large Russian fuel and energy companies is also prohibited: Rosneft, Transneft, Gazpromneft and three defense concerns: Uralvagonzavod, Oboronprom and the United Aircraft Corporation. In addition, trading is limited to bonds of the above-mentioned companies whose circulation period exceeds 30 days.
Five Russian banks were also sanctioned: Sberbank, VTB, Gazprombank, VEB and Rosselkhoznadzor. Banks of EU countries cannot issue loans to them for more than 30 days, as well as trade their new securities with a circulation period of more than 30 days (a ban is imposed on the purchase of securities).
