1. To me it looks like Javelins and dead Russians work very well. Russians stopped offensive on Kyiv. It also makes harder for Rus to conquer the whole of Donbas. 2. Yes, there will be many dead Ukros, but many more died over centuries under Russian terror. So nothing extraordinary is happening. The only extraordinary thing is that Ukros are being united by Russian terror. And EU woke up to military danger and hopefully will improve their defences. 3. Yes, Ukros could capitulate, but they didn’t. So they made a choice to join EU, rather than Soviet Union. I can see no reason why they should be better off under Putin. Look at quality of life in Russia and average european country. Easy choice. 4. Western politicans are often corrupt, stupid or with weird ideology. However, russians proved to be much worse. So not difficult choice to make.

He has also revealed that those entrenched at the steel plant include some 600 wounded soldiers. Go eat cold turkey.

My view is that Russian success in Eastern Ukraine is assured. However, to end the war the Jew World Order in Ukraine needs to be defeated.
This requires regime change in Kiev. Rather than taking Kiev. Putting a border force in place by taking Odessa and incorporating the peace keeping force in Transnistria to border security. In conjunction with moving a border force down from western Belarus to regulate the Polish, Slovakia, Hungarian and Romanian borders. In conjunction with air patrols and anti aircraft capability to regulate the border airspace.
Should give Russia sufficient control to sever the NATO/JWO physical links as needed to achieve control of the political process in Ukraine to carry out the needed political restructuring. The other facet that needs to be addressed is economic control. By incorporating Ukrainian economic activity into the Russian sphere of activity. This is something that China can help with.
By the provision of goods and services, including financial, to replace those provided by NATO/JWO concerns. So that the average Ukrainian citizen will see an improved standard of living. And will support the Russian political and economic restructuring in Ukraine.
If necessary, the other 5 largest cities besides Kiev, Lviv and Odesa. That are directly adjacent to the current Russian occupation zone. Can be siezed so that Russia directly controls 8 of 10 of Ukraine’s largest cities and economic centers.
For the time being Odesa could be bypassed and cut off from the rest of Ukraine in the same manner that Mariupol was. Though clearing it of Ukrainian military as part of putting a border security force in place moving north to meet with a Russian force from western Belarus moving south is also an option. With the goal being establishing a DMZ along Ukraine’s western border to stop NATO/JWO interference in Ukrainian affairs.
So if the russians are going to destroy and level to the ground also this beautiful city, like they did with Mariupol, then that will be the last strow breaking the camels back. And making Russia become the total pariah in the face of the whole world. And it will also legitimize, yes even press the NATO or at least aligned forces ( blackwater+volunteers) to overrun Transnistria and save the southern Ukrainian flank. So it would be clever, if Putin not try to attack or cauldron Odessa, let alone capture it. The brave defenders of Mariupol bought the Ukraine forces a hugh time-win, and the time gained through their outstanding defence of Mariupol was of course used by Ukraine in order to fortify Odessa, and pump it full of supplies, weapons (inculding anti-ship rockets) and fighters. Odessa is now a Fortress of Fear to the ruski invaders same as Kiev or Charkow.
So anyway Putin cannot conquer that town (at least not within the next 6-10 months). But of course he can raze it to the ground in that time and murder the civilians inside like he always does. See for example Mariupol, how it looks before the Putin invaders attacked, and how it looks now. Odessa is the only harbour left which Ukraine has, so it is vital and will be defended at all costs and with all means. Likely including chemical, bacteriological and – if the US allows – even small nuclear arms like the neutron-bomb, which the US had thrown on Saddam International Airport in Baghdad in 2003. A war-crime of course.
But now, as Putin, with his raid on the souveran state of Ukraine, has already commited the biggest warcrime, I guess the gloves are off, and if Putin not stops and retreats to orc-land, he will get a beating that his forefathers would never ever have even dreamt of.
