- The Liaison and Coordination Officers’ Operations Room (loyal to Ansar Allah) reported 115 ceasefire violations in al-Hudaydah in the past 24 hours;
- On August 2, Hans Grundberg, the UN envoy in Yemen issued a statement announcing the extension of the ceasefire in Yemen for two months;
- On August 1, amid the tension between Islah Party and Tariq Saleh’s armed forces, Tariq Saleh’s representative building in Taiz city (Political Office of National Resistance) was closed;
- On July 31, two people were killed and three others were injured as a result of clashes between unknown armed men and STC forces in the Salah al-Din area, in the west of Aden.
