- On August 22, Hassan al-Ba’aum, the head of the political office of the Southern Movement, declared “national reconciliation of the south” and joined the Southern Transitional Council led by Aidarus al-Zoubaidi;
- On August 23, clashes between the UAE-backed forces and militants of the Islah Party continue in the Abr area;
- On August 23, the STC and Amaliqa forces took control of al-Uqla oilfield from the militants of the Islah Party.
