Frankly, military situation is quite satisfying as the Saudi Jews are being droned daily. Long live Ansarallah.
Houthis reportedly took Al Zour and are advancing east towards Marib Dam. Hadi loyalist army and Islah/al Qaeda leaders are fleeing Marib with their war spoils as waves of IDPs pour into the city from the west.
Two million pissed off Marib locals, apparently tiring of the Saudi/UAE/al Qaeda boot on their neck, are turning on their occupiers, killing them, seizing weapons and retaking the money stolen from them. Saudi PR piece last week on mock ‘book fair’ in Marib supposedly showing how calm and normal everything was. It’s actually total chaos in the streets as the Saudi/UAE/al Qaeda bigshots desert the place. As usual, each group is leaving their foot soldiers in Marib to ‘hold’ the city (=get slaughtered) while the elite escape.
Marib’s people were never big fans of the Houthis/Ansar Allah, but they seem pretty damn eager to see the corrupt Saudi/UAE/al Qaeda ‘leadership’ flee or get killed. At this stage of battles, organized resistance will start crumbling an only pockets of Muslim Brotherhood/al Qaeda-linked tribes will keep fighting the Houthis. The rest? Well, nothing to save once your corrupt-assed leaders flee.
The Houthis will negotiate with the more rational elements of local leaders – they don’t anticipate having to take Marib street-by-street. The Houthis don’t see the population of Marib as enemies. In fact, they keep assuring Marib locals that they are all just regular Yemenis like everyone else. That’s why locals keep flipping to Ansarallah rather than fight them.

Not any credible sources. It’s the usual PaveWay “I create my own reality” speculation based on what I think I can read between the lines. Which explains why I am a commenter here, not a writer.
Those maps are pretty credible and not based on your imagination. Well, you as a commentator did decent job.
@Suriyakmaps have always been pretty good in retrospect. No speculation needed on my part. I assume he (She?) has to sift through the same pile of rumors, denials, claims and counterclaims like everyone else, and still manages to produce a reasonably accurate unbiased picture of what’s probably happening on the ground. That’s rare for Yemen. I can’t imagine they have direct, real-time sources on every Yemeni front, but I honestly have no idea.
You’re right. Russia have, real time infrared, 3d pictures. China too.
