Good comparison with North Vietnam but their backers were much bigger; both Russia and China. Houthis only have Iran, directly at least. So Houthis do not have the equipment and ordannance backing that North Vietnam had. All the more herioc to the Houthis, but means Houthis did not have as much fire power as North Vietnam had, so a prolonged conflict with no clear victory either side.
