i am the author of the “thank you manifesto” and the “contrary theory”. jump into the sf archives and read those. today i want talk about the “non hetero dilemma”. first of all,> i am hetero, but not a hater, so i am fine with anybody and get along with anybody, as long as they respect my privacy. ok, that said let’s begin with the definition: non hetero is much more than lgbt. there are men (and women) who are undecided, or just asexual at all.
with all the due respect to the president of russia – ppl think that putin hates lgbt, but i go even further, i think he has a problem with non heteros in general (i will explain this later). the problem is that the number of non heteros has increased in the last few years. and this is one of the reasons why many ppl in “western countries” don’t like him. many of the putin haters hate him because he allegedly hates the non hetero community.
many of the haters are even ok with the smo, but the fact that he makes a witch-hunt against non hetero is a big problem for them. people like sarah ashton and the husband of president macron hate him because of it, not because of ukraine.

my advice to mr. putin (if he wants to be more popular in western countries and win many new hearts and minds from unexpected sides) would be to respect non heteros as it’s almost impossible to change their orientation, and find other ways to stop demographical decline like for example easing immigration from ‘good countries’.
