The military situation remains tense in the region of Donbass in eastern Ukraine. Artillery strikes were reported east of Maripol, north and west of Donetsk, and northwest of Debaltsevo.
Sporadic firefights and clashes continued in the industrial area of Adveevka near the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) capital.
