Early on April 9, a missile attack hit the T4 airbase located in the Syrian province of Homs.
Initially, the Syrian state-run media SANA reported that the Syrian Air Defense Forces had shot down 8 missiles, but there had been some “martyrs and wounded” in the incident. The SANA also accused the US of being behind the attack.
The US and France officially rejected of delivering a strike on the T4 Airbase. The Israeli military declined to comment on reports about the T4 airbase strike.
However, a video showing unidentified fighter jets in Lebanese airspace prior to the strike appeared online. Israel often uses Lebanese airspace to attack targets inside Syria.
Later, the Russian Defense Ministry said that the strike had been delivered by two Israeli F-15 fighters, which launched 8 missiles. Five missiles were shot down by Syrian forces. The rest reached the western part of the airbase.
The situation is developing.

If Russia wanted to take down the missiles, they would’ve deployed Pantsir s1, Upgraded version, which is basically a heavy weighter when it comes to these things.
