Missile Strike Targets Terrorist Ammo Depots Along Turkey’s Border (Photos)

A pinpoint missile strike targeted on December 21 militants’ ammo depots in the northern Idlib countryside, according to several pro-government sources.

At least two missiles reportedly landed in the villages of Ras Elhisn and Babsqa near the town of Haram, on the border line with Turkey.

Opposition activists claimed that the missiles were of the Kalibr-type, launched from Russian warships situated in the Mediterranean sea.

These claims were rejected by experts, who said that the projectiles were likely tactical ballistic missiles launched by the Syrian Arab Army (SAA), which is currently carrying out a large-scale operation in Idlib.

In the last few months, the SAA launched several Soviet-made OTR-21 Tochka tactical ballistic missiles at high-value targets in northern and northwestern Idlib. Many of the targets were ammo depots of al-Qaeda-affiliated Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS).

Since the early years of the Syrian conflict, terrorist groups have positioned most of their ammo depots, headquarters and training camp along the Turkish border. Ankara is yet to take any action against this threat.

Awesome news, great job SAA! These were NOT Kalibr Missiles, Kalibr do not make zig zag crazy paths like in the picture. They also fly much lower. Probably Tochka or other ballistic missiles.

ruca

That could be an Iskandar
