Moderate ‘opposition’ forces have captured Tel Dakwa from ISIS units in northeastern Suweida.
This is the recent in a series of advances by ‘moderate’ militants against ISIS in the area.
Earlier this week, ISIS defenses collapses in northeastern Suweida. As a result, Syrian government forces and ‘opposition’ forces gained large areas from the terrorist group.

SAA needs to get Busayri crossroads before FSA rats get there, they don’t need too many forces, as Daesh is retreating.

I think the same. It must be a top priority. North Palmyra ISIS settlement isn’t going anywhere, it will remain there,
But the Busayri crossroad may very soon fall to FSA and by this the whole south west Palmyra would be insecure.
True, I would rather have the Homs-Hama border area cleared instead but it requires more manpower, for what it is worth Busayri can be cleared with less than 200 soldiers and right equipment.

Correct that it is surrounded by ridge lines, some of which will have to be held by SAA also (some hardpoints at least). But there may be very few Daesh left in this area. It is a good road junction to hold in this hilly desert terrain.
