On August 11, several convoys of the Tiger Forces arrived in the northern Hama countryside as a part of the ongoing preparations to launch a large-scale military operation against the remaining militants three, according to Syrian pro-government sources.

These convoys transferred several heavy weapons, including OTR-21 Tochka tactical ballistic missile launchers, UR-77 mine clearing vehicles, BM-21 Grad truck-mounted 122 mm multiple rocket launchers and dozens of artillery pieces of different calibers.

A source in the Tiger Forces told SouthFront that dozens of battle tanks and armored vehicles were also deployed in northern Hama. Some of these tanks and vehicles were captured from the militants in southern Syria during the recent operation there, according to the source.

Local observers believe that the upcoming operation will target the northern and northwestern Hama countryside, mainly the al-Ghab Plains. Later, the SAA may develop its offensive and advance towards the Turkmen mount in the northern Lattakia countryside and the key city of Jisr al-Shughur in the northwestern Idlib countryside.
