A Russian journalist, Alexander Kots, has released an interesting photo report showing members of the Russian Special Operation Forces in the area of the ancient city of Palmyra.
Earlier this month, the Russian Defense Ministry officially announced that the Russian Special Operations Forces were actively participating in the second liberation of Palmyra from ISIS.
Palmyra , has no long term military value , Dier Azzor , is critical to winning or losing this war . Waiting for the Americans to take it with all the fresh troops they are pouring into Jordan and Kuwaite is not proper strategy . If Syria holds it fully , the Americans will not attack it , but if SAA , is perceived as just hanging in there , they will be delighted to fill that power vacuum .
Those Russian special forces belong in Deir Azzor .

Palmyra is indicative of the game being played against Syria. It is a long salient for SAA into ISIS held desert territory, but they are forced to attend to it. The opposition strategy, and keep in mind NATO and GCC intelligence officers run strategic control rooms in Turkey and Jordan, has been to constantly try and disperse SAA on many fronts, diffusing their strike power, and stretching their resources to breaking point. It was impossible for Syrian state to idly watch their major tourist and cultural site at Palmyra be demolished by terrorists – it is an economic resource but is also a state control and image issue. So when SAA needed to be focused elsewhere, in northern Lakatia and Aleppo, ISIS terrorists struck out at Palmyra and started destroying ancient structures – it was diversion to further disrupt SAA and their objectives. Now, whoever came up with that plan coordinated it with other northern based opposition offensives at that time, and targeted cultural vandalism was essential part of plan, to absolutely force a military response from Syrian state in complete opposite corner of country.
Russia needs to defend Syrian air space against the invading and attacking Israeli aerial bombings. Since Russia broke their contract with Syria, and failed to deliver the new S-300 systems (same story as they did to the Iranians). Now Syrians cannot defend themselves. So Russia instead delivered Syrians S-300 systems to Iran to fill that other contract. All because Jews threatened to remove Putin from power if he did not obey his Zionist masters on this one thing. Syria believed Russians work was good just as the Iranians had once thought, and Russia broke the deal. Syria is destined to fail as long as Syrian territory is occupied by terrorist-Jews who are very racist against Goyim’s.

Something doesn’t make sense on your statement. “Jews threatened to remove Putin from power if…” I assumed if they delivery S300 to Syria. But the major concern of the Jews are exactly Iran, who Russia delivery the S300… and Putin are strongly on power. Redo it again, please.

It was so nice to see Syrian and Russian troops taking time off to dance and have some fun, they really needed it after going so hard for so long recently!
