A fierce battle between the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and ISIS terrorists is reportedly taking place in the eastern Hama countryside.
Clashes erupted late on October 21. Some opposition sources said the terrorist group launched a large-scale attack on the SAA and its allies in Ithriyah and other parts of the region. However, other sources claimed that government forces started a security operation there.
Syrian and Russian warplanes and attack helicopters are reportedly providing Syrian troops in eastern Hama with close air support and bombing ISIS positions in the region.
“21 personnel of regime forces and their militias were killed, while [only] 13 ISIS members were killed,” the London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said in a report, “the number of casualties will likely rise as many of the wounded are in a critical condition.”
In the last few months, the Hama-Aleppo-Raqqa triangle in central Syria saw a number of battles between the SAA and ISIS. Hundreds of fighters from both sides were killed or injured.
Hundreds of terrorists are taking shelter in the Homs desert, which is located between the triangle to the north and the Damascus desert in the south.
ISIS terrorists are attempting to expand their influence in the central region. The terrorists are reportedly relying on the support of U.S.-backed fighters based in the southeastern area of al-Tanaf.
I believe SOHR in this apart from the Tanf support but hope for more information.
AL-CIASIS will always be a pain in ass for SAA as long as Turkish and American presence in Syria is allowed, these are the major funders of AL-CIASIS/MOSSAD sleeper cells.

This is happening despite intense air support. Imagine what happens if the SAA were left without air support.
That’ s only what cia says…….
I’m reading it on South Front, and they won’t promote CIA lies.
“reportedly” “opposition sources” “SOHR” “other sources” Not much meat on the bone.
Some of us have been saying for a long time it will continue as long as they have US support, deal with those bastards and the terrorists will have nowhere to go.,any fightig force needs logistics and arms, there must be heli flights and truck convoys supplying those animals.
My only question is how do they manage to not run out of manpower. As I understand, rebel factions had way more KIA than the government, yet, the gov. is the one suffering the most of scarce man-power
SOHR; one must be stupid to believe the CIA

LOL, If you draw a straight line from Al Tanf to the area in Hama Isis is now fighting the SAA, about halfway in between the 2 locations lies Palmyra, a well patrolled highway, and the Russian air base that’s located there, and the Russians have been beefing up that base since the Iranians vacated it for them, so I don’t think any Isis fighters are sneaking around this base to get to Al Tanf, they’re definitely taking a different route for their logistic needs. This battles actually taking place a lot closer to the opposition fighters stronghold in Idlib than it is the US base.
