More and more videos are appearing from the town of Khan Shaykhun in southern Idlib that was liberated by the Syrian Army on August 21. According to pro-government sources, the Syrian Army and its allies are securing the Khan Shaykhun countryside ahead of the push towards the remaining militant positions in northern Hama.

Yes, it looks like those are perennials in the genus Artemisia and family Chenopodiaceae (Amaranthaceae). Did a little work in Syria for a man in the BGS back in the day before Arab Spring in Orontes valley before Ukraine project started.
