Moscow, Damascus Say Syrians ‘Won't Get a Dime’ of US Aid Money Earmarked for Them

The news agency TASS reports (source):

Russian and Syrian inter-agency coordination headquarters believe that Syrian citizens won’t receive a dime out of the $400mln assistance allocated by Washington, they said in a joint statement released on Tuesday.

“Out of nearly $400mln earmarked by the US side for Syria’s assistance, the Syrian people won’t get a dime,” chiefs of the Russian and Syrian coordination headquarters, Mikhail Mizintsev and Hussein Makhlouf, said in the statement.

This sum is distributed “between the United Nations’ agencies and NGOs,” as well as the White Helmets group, which is notorious for staging false flag chemical attacks in Syria.

Earlier, Russia and Syria had called on the UN to solve the problem of the Rukban refugee camp and tell the US that such sites must not exist. The Russian Defense Ministry recalled that the US forces’ command in Al-Tanf, where the Rukban camp is located, impedes the refugees’ exit, while the militants are holding them, demanding big sums for leaving the site.

The Rukban refugee camp emerged on the Syrian-Jordanian border in 2014 after Amman closed its border due to security and economic concerns. The area, which is controlled by illegal armed groups, is facing a severe humanitarian crisis. The camp is located within the 55-km zone around the US Al-Tanf base.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov told a news conference in Moscow last week that the US bears full responsibility for the fate of the Syrians remaining on the occupied territories. According to Lavrov, during the aid delivery full security and transparency should be ensured and steps should be taken so that the cargo is handed over to the refugees rather than members of illegal armed groups.

This is shockingly mean spirited, like John Bolton on steroids. I knew we were going to starve the govt. held areas of Syria but I didn’t think we were going to do this in all of the areas under our control, especially the Jordanian border where we do all of our sob stories about the poor Syrians.

Not to worry, our intrepid U.S. MSM will be on top of this … crickets.

“…This sum is distributed “between the United Nations’ agencies and NGOs,” as well as the White Helmets group, which is notorious for staging false flag chemical attacks in Syria…”

We’re not starving the Rukban Death Camp detainees – we’re providing plenty of food to their local supply chain. The concentration camp guards, Maghawir al Thawra, will ensure all this aid goes to paying customers and potential organ donors in the camp. Of course MaT will take a little off the top for marketing and administrative expenses.

If that doesn’t teach those Arab ingrate freeloaders about the benefits of capitalism, what will? There’s no such thing as a free lunch!

Jens Holm

You cant rely on what we and USA think this and that, You brand Yourself well branding Bolton as on steroids.

He and many in the world for very good reasons has a total different oppinion then You. Thats allowed, where I live. Assad and his svimmingpool sector should have no income from here. Those stil are intact supported by Russian Oligarks.

FlorianGeyer

You really should stop drinking the Coolade ,Jens. It makes you appear to be an ‘Old Soak’. :)

Jens Holm

Bolton as others are allowed to have their own oppinion. He is not even United States.

His oppinions do matter as many others. Morons thinking any of us will support rebuilding for Assads are the ones on drugs.

FlorianGeyer

President Assad and the loyal Syrian people do not want your dirty money that is stained with the blood of Syrian innocents, Jens.

Jens Holm

I think I wrote that money to them is not even an option.

I comment “Russian and Syrian inter-agency coordination headquarters believe that Syrian citizens won’t “.

Those are not westerns – I think …

Saddam Hussein

This is expected, and Arabs shouldnt beg the burgers for anything. The Syrians can rebuild their country and hopefully Arab states will admit their mistakes and help financially, along with allies like Russia, China and Iran.

Jens Holm

Of course. Assads should live as they deserve. SDFs are the only, which should be helped apart from food and elementary medical care by UN.

Assads systematicly has stolen help given to ALL in Syria for themselves and even remarked it. Those are the reason for the civile war and every day tell, there is no other results, then they are winning.

Valerianus Maximus

Forced population transfer is a war crime, doofus. But you NATO shites are experts on forced population transfers.

Jens Holm

I am afrais so. If we need help, we ask serbs :)

You can call me Al

No offence and maybe it was just me, but I really did take the headline out of context, until I read the article. The headline could do with a quick spruce up, if you do not mind me saying.

Its expensive to maintain NGO´s in a foreign country. The Syrians should show a little more gratitude to the spirit of American freedom we give to the Syrian people by our presence, and by our willingness to talk to them from time to time when we are not busy.

zman

The only money earmarked for Syrians is for terrorist support, regardless of the home front propaganda. All their complicit NGOs are naught but covert warfare agencies. The UN is a joke when it comes to international law, it’s just a front for Zionist aggression and propaganda. The members are no more than co-conspirators…the rest are too scared to say no.
