According to pro-militant sources, the Syrian Air Force and the Russian Aerospace Forces have increased airstrikes on positions of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (formerly Jabhat al-Nusra) and its allies southeast of Saraqib in the province of Idlib. Pro-government sources speculate that this series of airstrikes may be a preparation move for the upcoming government advance in the area.
Earlier on January 29, the Syrian military fully secured the town of Abu al-Duhur after a series of clashes with Hayat Tahrir al-Sham militants there.

Putin wants to help Syria more but the Israeli terror network the illegal European migrants wants to take whole Palestine and kill 6 million Palestinians. Who is he going to “demand” these items from? That could be hard task for SAA and Tigers …we will see. There is cca 25 km to reach Saraqib and for success it is important good weather also for air bombing, and forecast for next 7 days is very good..almost every day sunny. Wish all luck to the SAA!!
I would not be all doom of gloom yet; let us give it another day or so.
BTW about bombing: Weather is crucial there because airstrikes was done with thermobaric bombs which are reliance on atmospheric oxygen and makes them unsuitable for use in adverse weather.

The Turks are alleged to be heading for Al-Eis. This is only 30km from Abu Duhur air base. If this is true, and not another false rumour, I fail to see the Turkish strategy. Are they aiming to confront the SAA and block further advances in Idlib? Surely such a massive advance south wouldn’t be tolerated by the Syrian Government? Where does Russia stand in all this? Or this part of some grand Turkish/Syrian/Russian maneuver against the Kurds or the US?
As so often happens with regard to developments in Syria I am confused….
It would not be tolerated if this was not mutually agreed, the question is was it and it looks like we will find out in the next few days; what is happening, does seem rather ominous though.
