Several suicide bombers blew themselves up near military facilities in the Syrian city of Homs, killing at least 35 people and wounding many others, the RIA Novosti news agency reported, citing an unnamed informed source at the scene.

As a source in the Syrian security services told the news agency, six suicide bombers blew themselves up in a building of the Department of the State and Military Security in Homs. At the same time, according to another source at the scene, one terrorist attack took place near a building of the State Security Department, while another one occurred near the Department of Military Intelligence. The source in the Syrian security services told RIA Novosti that at least 35 people lost their lives in the terrorist attacks.

“The number of fatalities has reached 35 people, dozens are wounded. A total of over six suicide bombers blew themselves up near two security facilities,” the source told RIA Novosti.

Governor of the Syrian province of Homs, Talal Al-Barazi, confirmed that at least 32 people were killed and 24 others were injured in the bombing on the territory of the military facilities in the city of Homs.

“The two blasts killed 32 people and injured 24,” Al-Barrazi said.

He also noted that the attackers attempted to enter the building of the State Security Department.

“The security detail repelled the attack and prevented the militants from breaking into the buildings, but the terrorists managed to detonate their explosive devices,” Al-Barrazi told the Al-Ikhbariya TV-channel.

Reportedly, head of the Military Security Department, General Hassan Daaboul, was among victims of the terrorist attacks.

“General Hassan Daaboul, the head of the Department of Military Security for Homs province, is among the killed,” the source in the security services told the news agency.

According to the Al Mayadeen TV-channel, the Jabhat Fateh al-Sham (previously known as the al-Nusra Front) terrorist group claimed responsibility for the series of terrorist attacks in the city of Homs.

Obviously these suicide bombings were carried out with the help of insiders and sleeper cells, since Homs is a city supposedly “under the control” of the Syrian government. The Syrian army and security forces are riddled with Islamists and jihadi sympathizers. All those stupid “amnesties” of jihadi rebels and the lack of internal purges and liquidations of traitors and spies, is costing and will continue to cost the Syrian government dearly.

Yes… When Rats can tunnel for weeks and get underneath a military base building and wipe nearly everyone out, It’s for sure the SAA at that facility are as dumb as bricks. The Russian General who ripped into Putin about Takfiri getting ride home with light weapons Was correct. They turned on the Bus drivers….burned them alive.

Jihadi in Idlib are collecting The amnestied. …forcing them to fight again. There is a huge 5th column army in Idlib province. … They are encircled…fighting amongst themselves, They are seed of the Old Muslim Brotherhood which was the 1960s Hama Riots and other, Which forced Assads Father to wipe 20,000 of them out. Some really bad blood there… Letting them consolidate and brood is dangerous.

This attack is interesting as to all the ruckess it has caused. A number of countries including Syria stating it is a direct attack on the Geneva peace meeting. That of all the attacks currently happening in Syria, this is the one that the NYTimes reported on, https://www.nytimes.com/2017/02/25/world/middleeast/syria-security-offices-attacks.html?rref=collection%2Fsectioncollection%2Fmiddleeast with their attempt to link it to the Amnesty International report.

TASS has a number of articles on it http://tass.com/world/932743 http://tass.com/world/932731

even SANA has an article or two stating that the bombings are very political. http://sana.sy/en/?p=100922 http://sana.sy/en/?p=100919 showing that the bombings have struck a nerve with the Syrians.

Would love to know what really is happening.
