Myanmar Caught In Spiral Of Violence After Military Coup (Videos)

Illustrative image

The recent successful coup d’état in Maynamar has thrown the entire country into a spiral of violence that does not seem to be nearing its end any time soon.

The coup d’état began on the morning of February 1, when members of Myanmar’s ruling party, the National League for Democracy, were deposed by the Tatmadaw, Myanmar’s Armed Forces, which vested power in a stratocracy.

The successful coup led to riots as many supporters of the government took to the streets throughout the country to protest against the rule of the Tatmadaw and call for the release and reinstatement of State Counsellor Aung San Suu Kyi and other detained elected officials.

This led to intense clashes between rioters and security forces that led to multiple casualties.

Sources in Myanmar claims that the crackdown has claimed the lives of 59 people so far. More than 1,700 others were allegedly detained by authorities.

The coup was condemned by the US and the European Union. Yet, the Tatmadaw is still standing by its decision to seize power, citing voter fraud in last November’s election, which was won by Suu Kyi’s party with a landslide, as the reason.

Coup leader Gen. Min Aung Hlaing has already pledged to hold new elections. Nevertheless, the chances of the crisis winding down soon remain slim.

The US is desperately trying to block China from access to the Indian Ocean. Sittwe already has a terminal to transfer oil and gas from ship to shore, and from there two pipelines already functioning to south China. A railway line is under study.

The hindu maniacs?

Looks likes a Voice Of America article.

The ruling junta that was deposed was actually about to do a major shake-up of the military high command.

That would have hurt China that imports lots of natural resources from Myanmar. And the military ,specifically speaking ,the Generals control these resources ,which are located in the northern part of Myanmar.

There is a global resource war going on right now between the U.S. and its allies and China and it’s allies.

An example of this is when Australia started screwing around with China regarding iron ore and coal with which China imports a lot. Australia decided to increase prices and tariffs. And Australia was horrified when China did not cave in and simply started importing iron ore and coal from Sierra Leon, which is benefitting enormously as China has, and will continue to build Sierra Leon’s infrastructure in short time. And Sierra Leon is one of the poorest countries in the world.

That’s what the U.S./NATO war on Afghanistan( super rich in natural resources, yet undeveloped country), war imposed on Libya(most oil , with the best quality in the world( low sulfur sweet crude)along with Kuwait and Iraq). All these countries got destroyed because they decided to go along with China instead of U.S.

Sooner or later, China is going to have to defend its interests or it will face a slow , brutal suffocation and will be squeezed to death. This is what the U.S./Nato/Allies intent just what to do. For them it’s a zero-sum geo-political game.

China needs to stop being Mr.Nice Guy.

The short answer NO!

In Exile

Australia needs to bring back the manufacturing industries off shored under the Lima Declaration 1974. Our sellout Politicians bend with the wind, if only we had a military with the balls to cleanse house. I am not against trade with China but why should we allow them to buy up our housing and farmland and sell us cheap junk that is no longer cheap. Bonds T shirts once made here 1 shirt would last a year or more even worn everyday now made in China and no longer cheap. Wash one and it shrinks plus the quality is crap. Damn the UN, damn the Jew Bankers and damn their puppets.

Chinese computer chairs are shit, pants are sht, otherwise no problem, Taiwanese products are all sht, particularly tools that break at a snap, obviously

the taiwanese do not have blokes there to put their crap to the real mans test, as for manufacturing, that bogus (soros/pine/turncoat french submarine rort) needs to be decimated, thus focius on collins class dna/nuclear submarines, thus the many tens of billions of dollars save go to upgrade our shipyards and invest in local manufacturing and developments/refinements within our natural fossil sectors, including atomic/hydrogen powerplants to compliment self sufficiency,we can achieve all such objectives, but we also must disect the majority of geen players whoms interests are for any other corporate simp, other than the Commonwealths:

My understanding is the army don’t get along with the Chinese. Aung was suppose to be the Western golden girl but then she flipped after visiting Beijing, much to the disappointment of the West.
