On February 2, the Righteous Promise Brigades (RPB) announced that it had attacked “vital facilities” in the capital of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Abu Dhabi, with four suicide drones.

A statement released by the group indicates that the attack was carried out in support of the Houthis (Ansar Allah) in Yemen, where forces backed by the UAE escalated their military operations recently.

“The Righteous Promise Brigades will continue to inflict painful blows until the mini-state of the UAE stops interfering in the affairs of the countries of the region, particularly Yemen and Iraq … The next blows will be more powerful and painful,” the group’s statement reads.

So far, there have been no reports in the media about any attacks on the UAE. The country is yet to officially confirm or deny the claims made by the group.

The RPB, which presents itself as a force native of the Arabian Peninsula, is reportedly backed by Iran and based in Iraq.

On 23 January of last year, the mysterious group attacked the Saudi capital, Riyadh, with a number of suicide drones. The attack targeted several positions including the Al Yamamah Palace, the official residence and office of the King of Saudi Arabia and the seat of the royal court.

Four days after the drone strike on Riyadh, the RPB released a poster showing a drone attacking Burj Khalifa in the Emirate of Dubai.

If confirmed, the RPB drone strike will be the second attack to target the UAE in less than three days. On January 31, the Houthis launched a number of ballistic missiles and suicide drones at targets in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

The US is already moving to support the UAE, where it maintains a large military presence. According to recent reports, Washington will soon deploy a guided-missile destroyer and fifth-generation fighter jets to the country. It is worth noting that American missile defense systems are already deployed there.

Ooohhh! A mysterious group that nobody knows nothing about but we know for sure it is backed by Iran. you see, it has to be because what else if not? In this case it will be too ridiculous if they say it’s Putin’s doing!

Not that I’m complaining. If anything, I think we have to do more, much much more…

Maybe there’s a relation: Saudis detained yet another Shia scholar in the city of Madina on Tuesday, Sheykh Kadhim (Kazem) al-Amri. No charge was announced which is just usual business and everyday under Saudi rule. His whereabouts is unknown. He is the custodian of a mosque in this holy city and a representative of the Grand Ayatollah Sistani of Iraq (in Shia faith, there are a few number of Grand Ayatollahs that people of this faith follow based on their own research and belief no matter of geographical location. They have representatives and offices in countries with a Shi’a population to address their followers questions, needs and donations).

Some times ago Saudis detained another Shi’a cleric and sentenced him to 8 years in prison on “terrorism charges”, meaning, well it absolutely doesn’t mean anything. Just imagine the uproar if Iran just asked a Sunni Imam for a talk… God helps them both (and Sheykh Zakzaki in Nigeria) and all the people under these ruthless dictators. The late Sheykh Nimr was martyred under similar bogus charges in a Saudi prison.

PS. The president of Yemen (Sana’a) gave instructions to the Yemeni armed forces for the next phase of Yemeni Storm operation to punish UAE. Yemen promised to disable at least 55 locations in UAE in case MbZ continues his crimes against Yemeni people.

Could well be a Shiite group composed of members from the East of the Arabian Peninsula. The name would fit, but the map focus is a bit strange. Of course, it could be false flag but why should it. More support for the Houthi struggle.
