A secretary general of Hezbollah, Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, said that Israel would be defeated by the Lebanese resistance movement in any potential military confrontation, launched by the Tel Aviv regime.
On Friday, giving an exclusive interview to al-Manar, a secretary general of Hezbollah, Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, expressed his confidence about the fact that Hezbollah “would emerge victorious from any new war with Israel.”
“After the (2006) war, I visited the Bekaa Valley and southern Lebanon. They (Israelis) say their achievement is that they forced me to hide in a bunker. That’s not true; I’ve met with many people away from the spotlight. I live and get around in a natural way. I do not live in a bunker,” Nasrallah said.
During the interview, he also noted that missiles that Hezbollah used against Israel in 2006 were produced by Syrian military industry, but were not manufactured in Iran.
“The war was aimed at eliminating the resistance in Lebanon, Syria and Palestine, and eventually isolating Iran. What is happening in Syria is a form of revenge for that war,” the Hezbollah chief said, referring to foreign-backed Syrian ‘opposition’.
“The Israelis knew that a direct military confrontation would not lead to Hezbollah’s defeat and that a war with Iran was not helpful. That is why they chose to take out Syria from the axis of resistance,” he noted.
According to Nasrallah, some parties of Lebanon “tried to confine the Lebanese army” during the 2006 war.
The secretary general also reiterated Hezbollah’s commitment to Lebanon’s national unity and “formation of a government that included all Lebanese political parties and factions, including the Future Movement.”
The Winograd Report by the Israeli regime revealed that Tel Aviv was defeated by Hezbollah fighters, involved in defending Lebanon in 2006, and had to withdraw. Over 1,200 Lebanese, mainly civilians, were killed during the 33-day war with Israel in summer 2006. The UN Security Council Resolution 1701, which established a cease-fire in the war, calls on Israel to respect Lebanon’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
On August 18, Hezbollah warned Israel against the ongoing construction of a two-kilometer-long road in the Shebaa Farms in Israeli-occupied Lebanese territory. A day later, a Lebanese flag was raised in Shebaa Farms by people from southern Lebanon as a protest against the construction of the road.
The UN forces, stationed in the area to monitor a ceasefire, the Lebanese and Israeli military forces went on high alert as the protesters entered into the occupied territory. About 500 Israeli troops were deployed in area about three kilometers away from the demonstrators. Israeli snipers also were spotted in the area of increased probability of starting a new armed conflict.
Israel is forming plans for a 2017 strike against the people of Lebanon. This I know from an inside source. However, if Hillary does not get elected, Israel is uncertain if they will be able to proceed. If they do get Hillary, at this point Israel officials has listed it as “Highly Probable” for a confrontation against Lebanon in a hot conflict. My take is, Hezbollah has also gotten wind of this from reliable sources. And more and more Jews are leaving the Jewish-surpremisist belief behind and leaking more and more information out to the free world. Hezbollah has lost far to many already in Syria. It is high time they leave the fighting to Syrian and Iranian and Russians and the Chinese need to pitch in as well. If Trump gets elected, which Israel fears. They believe he will not support a war against Lebanon or Syria or against Iran. Everyone watch out for a repeat of what they did to JFK, they may try and pull against Trump as well. If they get the opportunity.
Pure specultion and against any odds anybody else than Hillery Clinton should be president.
I only agree about how its for Hezbollah. Israel having hands in Syria as well try to move hezbollahs back to Lebanon. The Lebanese Goverment army has got forign support to make better smugling border control making it more difficult to be a Hezbollah.
Thinks at least some Hezbollahs are tired gaining almost nothing but dead and invalides in Syria as well.
