A batch of Uran-9 tracked unmanned combat ground vehicles is entering service with the Russian military on January 29. The Uran-9 is designed to deliver combined combat, reconnaissance and counter-terrorism units with remote reconnaissance and fire support. The weapon system has been tested in the conflict in Syria and since then has received several upgrades.
More about:
“The weapon system has been tested in the conflict in Syria and since then has received several upgrades.”
I just hope that all complaints end deficiencies from Syrian experience have been resolved 100%. Nobody needs weapons system with “900 deficiencies” like F-35
Probably it is too hard to shot this vehicle with laser guided munition because of its reactive flamethrowers.
I can see that you worry your brain already how to put some powder under Russian arse ;))
Only a matter of time until the T-14 is a serially produced unmanned MBT.
OK but I still see the room for reducing crew from 3 to one person only (commander – operator )while having automatic options for everything from driving to targeting and firing before going fully un-manned.
I believe the idea is to have one command T-14 to control up to 12 unmanned T-14’s.
most probably + 100% networked – connected with all aircraft and other units in the region in real time to have situational awareness and possibility to react on any given situation, problem in real time
