On August 11, TV Zvezda released footage documenting the destructive power of the Russian TOS-1A thermobaric rocket system.
The footage shows a salvo of 15 TOS-1A rockets wiping out a number of residential buildings in the town of Pisky where Ukrainian service members have been taking shelter. The town, which is located right on the frontline with the city of Donetsk, was abandoned by its residents years ago. Kiev forces turned the town into a large fortress.
The rocket strike on Pisky facilitated a push by the Russian military and its allies, who were reportedly able to enter some parts of the heavily fortified town.
The TOS-1A, which is based on the T-72 battle tank chassis, can be armed with up to 24 unguided 220 mm thermobaric rockets with a range between six and ten kilometers. The system’s rockets are armed with a powerful fuel air explosives warhead.
The system was developed to defeat infantry, armored vehicles and fortified constructions, such as trenches, tunnels and caves.

The Russian military has been actively using TOS-1A systems against Kiev forces since the start of its special operation in Ukraine. An upgraded version of the system, dubbed the TOS-2, was also tested during the operation. The TOS-2 is based on a Ural all-terrain vehicle. It is also armed with a more powerful rockets with a longer range.
Kiev forces have been struggling in the face of the fire power of the Russian military. The West’s massive support failed to change the situation on the battlefield.

Very good but still not enough VOLUME FIRE. What means VOLUME FIRE ? Means 10 TOS’s firing synchronized volley. After that there will be no more need to fight anybody ! There will be no more Peski, only 300 unrecognized burned hohol corpses. Next move, 10 russian recon will take Peski in 10 minutes.
It does show Russia is getting more serious in its fight against NATO & the Azovs.

That was in Pisky. Those tower blocks were abandoned in 2014 and turned into fortresses by the Ukrainians … that barrage in the video wiped out those positions allowing the Russians to walk in. The volume of fire wiped out the enemy … any more would just be a waste and all it would do is make the rubble bounce.
One low yield tactical nuke can destroy that whole fortified area in a second. Of course I don’t support using such weapons, but it’s an interesting possibility.
What about FOAB?
I think FOAB can be only dropped from a Tu-160, but Russia can’t fly those at high altitude because of Ukrainian S-300 air defense.
Ukrainian air defense is completely dispersed, Ukrainians can only use short-range passive air defense systems. The S-300 requires the operation of two radars, acquisition and targeting, and the activated Ukrainian radar in a situation of complete Russian dominance in the air is a very visible and very short lived target…
And then what? US is dragging everyone into this mess. They are only waiting to escalate the whole situation. Why do you think UKR is shelling their own NPP? They do what US is telling them to do. US is clearly risking everything to ignite a war. Russia will always be the second one to use nukes. You don’t wish for something like that. It may come true and then its game over for a few million people all at once.
I think low yield tactical nukes are not illegal according to international law against military targets on some cases. I’m not talking about nukes like the one dropped on Hiroshima. I don’t wish for it, just talking about the possibility.
Still, this will only escalate further and that is what US wants. Russia has been grinding the Ukies and enjoying the fact that they will always lie about their losses. No escalation so far but steady depletion of their resources, both human and hardware. NATO is also loosing very fast. Hardware and mercenaries are being wiped out without any outcry. So far I would not recommend any escalation from Russian side when it is not needed. They have a big stock on conventional weapons to finish off most of what NATO is throwing at them. Also they have time, since EU and URK are going to freeze coming winter, not Russia and their friends. At some point NATO and EU will have to escalate, then it would be an entire different situation. They have seen some of Russia’s advanced weapons in action and they have also already concluded publicly that they have noting in defense for that. They also know, they will eventually loose and pull back as URK is costing them a fortune. Many countries have already cut all payments for refugees. They all thought they would win against Russia in no time. They did not plan ahead for a total defeat. Germany also fears of total cut from Russian gas. That means, they know what is coming. I would guess they will escalate in near future.

I for one would be interested to see Russian tactical nukes that would certainly compel the comedian to accept the terms of Moscow peace settlement and send a clear signal to the western bloc, considering the fact that Kiev is trying to contaminate the region by shelling zophoreshye nuclear plant which can mess up the entire Europe.

TOS-1 has a big problem, it only reaches 5 km and is very vulnerable to counter-battery fire. And you can’t work in areas where there are human shields.
Russia’s special weapons, on the other hand, can be placed anywhere in Ukraine, not where there are civilians, but where there are military, bases, airfields and communication nodes. Clear the forests and trenches of Donbas and also the great Ukrainian steppes immobilizing the enemy under threat of annihilation.
Thus a quick peace is achieved, with the saving of tens of thousands of Slavic lives, the preservation of the cities of the East, the relief of Europe and the despair and frustration of the English-speakers and the Jewish puppet.
