The Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) news network, Iba’a, announced on April 24 that the terrorist group’s special forces have carried out a new attack on a position of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) near the town of al-Hakura in the northwestern Hama countryside.
According to Iba’a’s claims, more than 10 service members of the SAA were killed in the attack. These claims have not been confirmed or denied by pro-government sources so far.
Later week, 20 Syrian soldiers and officers were killed in two separate attacks in western Aleppo and northern Lattakia. The attacks were carried out by HTS and one of its close allies, al-Qaeda-affiliated Horas al-Din.
These repeated attacks on the SAA are a major violation of the Russian-Turkish demilitarized zone agreement. Under the agreement, terrorist groups are not allowed to have any presence within a 15-20km reduce around Idlib. Turkey has not implemented this term yet.
The new attack will likely trigger a response from the Russian Aerospace Forces, which struck several militants’ positions in the vicinity of Idlib city earlier this week.
probably cause a response but will not give the green light to SAA to go in and clean the shit out of their own country. I think the russians started to mimic the amerrican and nato bombings that allegedly been done against isis.
The only Solution is the SAA launching an all-out offensive to clean out and eliminate all Idlibistan jihadis… DMZ is not working, and is only a TEMPORARY measure
