ISIS’ news agency, Amaq, announced on August 2 that the terrorist group killed three soldiers of the Syrian Arab Army in a new attack in the eastern Homs countryside.
The terrorist group’s new attack targeted Syrian troops in the outskirt of the town of al-Sukhnah. Heavy clashes lasted for several hours.
“By the grace of God Almighty, Caliphate soldiers targeted elements of the apostate army in the desert of al-Sukhnah with various types of weapons, which led to the elimination of 3 elements and the seizure of various weapons and ammunition. Praise be to God,” Amaq said in a short statement.
ISIS cells are known to be active in the Homs desert, south of the al-Sukhnah. The desert region lays between eastern Homs and western Deir Ezzor.
A day earlier, ISIS terrorists launched a hit-and-run attack from their hideouts in the Homs desert at an oil fields in the western Deir Ezzor countryside. Two to four SAA service members were reportedly killed.
These recent attacks prove that ISIS threat in the central Syrian region is still growing. The group’s cells are allegedly receiving supplies from U.S.-backed fighters based in the occupied region of al-Tanaf in the southeast.

If ever the the penny drops with the SAA they might ask the Iranians for some recon drones if Russia won’t supply them and image the fuck out of that desert region and blow these fuckers to the land of jigsaws and virgins
It doesn’t matter who supply’s them as long as they get what they need. Iran is good in drones so why not sharing some with Syria?
