This week, the ISIS news agency Amaq released a detailed video report from Iraq claiming that the terrroist group’s forces conducted 3,196 attacks, including 96 suicide bombings, in the country. According to the report, these attacks resulted in the killing or wounding of 10,600 people. There is no secret that in the second half of 2019 and the first part of 2020 ISIS expanded its operations in Iraq. However, the actions of the terrorist group still remained at the scale of a low-intensity warfare. Therefore, the numbers provided by the ISIS propaganda is in the best case ‘questionable’ and likely highly overestimated.
It also should be noted that the ISIS propagnada video publicly demonstrates the burning of farm lands in Iraq. By such moves, ISIS members terrorize farmers that cooperate with the government. At the same time, these attacks demonstrate that ISIS has lost most of its support base in the country.
That rats can put bombs but cannot take not even an small village!
