The flagship of Ukraine, Hetman Sahaidachny, has been scuttled according to a photo that surfaced on social media on March 3.
On February 26, two days after the beginning of the Russian special military operation in Ukraine, several sources reported that service members of the Ukrainian Navy had sunk the frigate at a shipyard in Mykolaiv city.
The frigate, which was originally built as a patrol ship of the Soviet Krivak-class, was likely scuttled to prevent it from being captured or destroyed by the Russian military.

Hetman Sahaidachny was armed with an AK-100 naval gun, two 30 mm AK-630 CIWS [close-in weapon systems, two quad 533 mm torpedo tubes and RBU-6000 anti-submarine rocket launchers. The frigate was also equipped to carry a Ka-27 naval helicopter.
Several units of the Russian military have already reached the outskirts of Mykolaiv. Ukrainian forces will likely be cleared out from the city very soon.
The Ukrainian Navy, which operates more than 20 warships, has shown no effective resistance, so far. On February 26, 16 Ukrainian boats attacked ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet which were evacuating Ukrainian soldiers who laid down their arms from Snake Island. Back then, all 16 boats were destroyed in the confrontation. The Black Sea Fleet sustained no losses.
Natonazistan wants Ukraine to empty all of their weapon holdings so that they can try stuffing their expensive NATO crap on Ukraines debt in the future.
Everybody in NATO is going to be told to open their wallets and upgrade to deal with the “Russian threat”. If a Ukrainian state of some sort emerges from this affair, it will be saddled with debt to the extent that it will essentially be the property of western banks.
The Ukrainian State that emerges will default on all former debt and will largely rely on investment from Russia and China. The trust has vanished from Russia-West relations and the Government will be staunchly pro-Russia in order to never allow the West to creep up again.

When the Russian army occupies Ukraine, the ethnically Russian majority Eastern Ukraine region should be annexed or become a protectorate, and Western Ukraine becomes a Russian military occupation zone with a pro-Russian government, the Russian government has to Russify. Stalin purged Nazis/tzarists/etc. But he didn’t ever based on nationality, he wasn’t even Russian. Read “Marxism and the national question” if you’re not convinced. The West of Ukraine is of polish nationality if i recall correctly. For them also, no need to displace/genocide. If you simply give them a good life, they will forget all about joining the EU.
