On September 26, the official website of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei released a photo revealing that Hassan Nasrallah, Secretary General of Hezbollah, had made a secret visit to the Islamic republic.
The photo shows Nasrallah with Khamenei and Maj. Gen. Qasem Soleimani, commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Quds Force.

It remains unclear when the visit took place, or how Nasrallah managed to travel to Iran despite the close monitoring by the Israeli military and intelligence.
Nasrallah stepped up its security measures after the 2006 war. Since then, Israeli officals have threatened to assassinate the Lebanese Shiite leader on many occasions. The Israeli military has been openly mocking Nasrallah for supposedly “hiding in an underground bunker.”
Despite these threats, Nasrallah confirmed in recent interviews that he is regularly meeting with his key allies, including Syria’s President Bashar al-Assad.
Nasrallah’s visit to Iran is a major blow to the Israeli military and intelligence institutions, which appear to be incapable of locating or tracking the Lebanese leader despite their continuous boasting.
While its fun to ridicule the Israeli intelligence agencies, deservedly so, in all fairness they only have to be lucky once. Nasrallah has to be lucky all the time. At some point his luck will run and the Israelis will probably get him. In the end the Americans did get Bin Laden. And I’m sure there were times when the Israelis had him in their crosshairs but didn’t, if only because the costs outweighed the benefits. As Hezbollah under Nasrallah is a dangerous nuisance, but a Hezbollah that is enraged because of Israeli assassination would be even more dangerous. And I suspect that Nasrallah considers himself a dead man walking and has planned his succession accordingly.
The Americans did not get bin laden. He was already dead long before due to his terminal illness. And for the record Bin laden was a CIA agent so they never had intentions to get him. Of course they needed to make a PR stunt for the brain washed goons with a story and Hollywood movie to back up the story.
