New Wave Of Russian Airstrikes Targets Greater Idlib Terrorists

Support SouthFront

Russian warplanes carried out on November 29 a series of airstrikes on terrorists’ positions throughout the Greater Idlib region in northwest Syria.

According to the London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), the airstrikes targeted the town of Shnan and the outskirt of the city of Ma`arat al-Nu`man in the southern Idlib countryside.

Russian warplanes also targeted the vicinity of the key town of Kabani in northern Lattakia, where the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) launch a ground attack earlier today. So far, the army has secured the 101 hilltop.

Greater Idlib is under the tight control of al-Qaeda-affiliated Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) as well as many other terrorist groups.

A recent report by Sputnik claims that the SAA is amassing its forces to launch “a large-scale military operation” in the region’s southern part.

Home Syria Turkey has given militants 2 German-made Leopard tanks: report SyriaTurkey Turkey has given militants 2 German-made Leopard tanks: report By News Desk – 2019-11-29 0

BEIRUT, LEBANON (9:30 P.M.) – Turkey has given two German-made Leopard tanks to the militant forces in northern Syria, the Russian publication Avia.Pro reported on Friday. “Turkey has handed over to the Syrian terrorists at least two German Leopard tanks, which had already been spotted on the front lines in the Idlib province. Thus, the Turkish side actively supports terrorists opposing the Syrian government forces and regularly conducting attacks on the Russian military in this region of Syria,” the report said.

Ankara has not officially commented on the transfer of heavy tanks to the militant forces; however, a report last week also accused Turkey of giving these armored vehicles to the so-called “Syrian National Army” (SNA), who is currently fighting the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF). Germany has provided aid to the SDF troops in Syria, so the fact that these tanks are being used against them may not sit well with the government in Berlin.

Willing Conscience (The Truths

Erdogan’s in big trouble with Germany if this is correct, only Turkish soldiers can use German supplied equipment, so another deal he’s broken with a fellow NATO member. Calling Macron brain dead one day and breaking an agreement with Merkel the next, and all while he’s asking them both to help in Syria, I wonder how NATO ever survived without him. So if Erdogan ever decided to just up and leave NATO, I wonder how all the NATO members would react to the news, throw a party probably, and then offer commiserations to Putin.

Willing Conscience (The Truths

Here’s an even better philosophy, “never trust anyone”.

Willing Conscience (The Truths

Hopefully the report in Sputnik is accurate.
