Russian warplanes carried out on November 29 a series of airstrikes on terrorists’ positions throughout the Greater Idlib region in northwest Syria.
According to the London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), the airstrikes targeted the town of Shnan and the outskirt of the city of Ma`arat al-Nu`man in the southern Idlib countryside.

Russian warplanes also targeted the vicinity of the key town of Kabani in northern Lattakia, where the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) launch a ground attack earlier today. So far, the army has secured the 101 hilltop.
Greater Idlib is under the tight control of al-Qaeda-affiliated Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) as well as many other terrorist groups.
A recent report by Sputnik claims that the SAA is amassing its forces to launch “a large-scale military operation” in the region’s southern part.
