In Armenia, the chaos and lack of stable leadership continues, with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan continues leading the nation through Facebook.

On November 29th, he came up with another reason why he had to sign the peace deal with Azerbaijan on November 9th, and it appears that it never is his fault, at all.

This is Pashinyan’s most recent excuse:

“On October 19, Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan called me and said that the war should be stopped. He also said that he expresses this point of view not only on his own behalf, but also on behalf of the retired presidents of the NKR Arkady Ghukasyan, Bako Sahakyan, as well as Robert Kocharyan, Serzh Sargsyan, Levon Ter-Petrosyan.

I called Russian President Vladimir Putin and he said that, in his opinion, this should be done in accordance with the logic of the Russian proposals. That is, to postpone the question of status, transfer the regions, and deploy Russian peacekeepers. I said that peacekeepers should be deployed along the former border of Nagorno-Karabakh and the Lachin corridor. He agreed, and we agreed that I would call again after discussion.

I called the President of Artsakh and said that the option described above is possible. He said he agreed. After that, I called the extra-parliamentary forces and informed them that I had made such a decision. The reaction of many was reluctant, some wrote on social networks after the session that those who would keep people from further struggle are traitors and so on.

On the same day I called a meeting of the Security Council with the participation of representatives of the Parliament factions. The President of the Republic and His Holiness also attended. The opposition was reluctant to accept the news, but I took the conversation in such a way that I was not going to blame them. I just inform you that I will not succeed or that I am doing something secretly behind the people.

I could not make any public statements, because if Azerbaijan rejected the offer after my public statement, it would be the collapse of our entire resistance system. I called the Russian president again and said that I agree. He said he would discuss this with Aliyev until morning and call him back.

The next day, during a meeting with me, Bako Sahakyan and Arkady Ghukasyan said that they did not agree to come to any agreement without specifying the status of Artsakh or some kind of clarification mechanism. In fact, they also said R. Kocharian, S. Sargsyan and L. On behalf of Ter-Petrosyan.

But none of this mattered, because I made a decision and was going to live to the end.

The next day, by agreement, the Russian president phoned. He said that Aliyev agreed, but peacekeepers should not be deployed along the borders of the NKAO, but since Hadrut and Talish are under their control, the Azerbaijanis do not agree to withdraw from these areas, and the peacekeepers should be deployed on the territory of the former NKAO in accordance with the de facto line of contact. …

Also, the Armenian side should undertake to return Azerbaijanis to Shushi. Thus, the ceasefire became impossible, because I said that even if I agree with Hadrut, I cannot imagine the possibility of transferring Shushi to Azerbaijan. The Russian President asked why I was against the possibility of Azerbaijanis to return to Shushi. When I presented my arguments, he said it was logical and he was not well aware of some of the nuances. The problem was that in this case, there should have been 90% or more of the Azerbaijani population in Shushi who would control the road to Stepanakert.

I am convinced that if I agreed to hand over Shusha, Azerbaijan would set a new condition: the Red Market-Shusha highway should be under their control.

Thus, no agreement was reached. At that time, Jebrail, Hadrut and several nearby villages, Fizuli and Talish were lost. Earlier, a ceasefire for humanitarian reasons was announced twice: once on October 10 through the mediation of the President of the Russian Federation, and the second on October 17 through the mediation of the President of France. Both mediations failed.”

As such, it wasn’t his fault, it was the fault of the Artsakh President, but also the Armenian President, and also the opposition and every other official, and this happened more than two weeks before the peace deal.

First President of Armenia Levon Ter-Petrosyan responded to Pashinyan

“Ter-Petrosyan considers it pointless to comment on the throwing of a mentally ill pest, leading the nation to destruction. Let him carry what he wants. He still doesn’t have a chance to justify himself. The Armenian people will never forgive him for this”- Armenian presidential spokesman Arman Musinyan wrote on his Facebook page in response to a request from journalists to comment on Pashinyan’s words about the former presidents’ plans to visit Moscow and meet with Putin.

In Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Defense continues publishing videos of its forces entering various settlements in the Kalbajar and Aghdam region, after they were “liberated.”

The military personnel, auto and special vehicles, as well as other logistic support assets, arrived in our country from Russia by rail on November 28 and passed border and customs control as required.

The cargo intended for the peacekeepers was delivered to Barda through the Yalama-Baku-Yevlakh-Barda railway route on November 29.

The cargo unloaded from the rail wagons were delivered to their destination point by auto transport escorted by the military police of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan through the Barda-Agdam-Khankendi route as planned previously.

Nikol ‘THE BASEMENT’ Pashiniyan is obvious traitor. But somehow, he is still in power! Which tells us only one thing; that for some reason, Armenians still does not understand that he is is the only main reason for their catastrophic defeat. The more Russian journalist try to ridicule him, the more Russia and Armenian people look weak and dumb in that situation. Truth is obviously not enough because it takes very long time to come to the surface. On the other hand, Russia is light years behind (comparing to the Western world ) in manipulation of the population.

It’s easier to fool people than to convince them that they’ve been fooled.

True. Truth has her ugly side that upsets people and most of the people don’t like to be upset. Ignorance is bliss (Singing kumbaya while it lasts or having orgy of self pity ).

Sauron

Seems like certain someone expected him out already, and him still being in power irritates that certain someone so much that the media campaign against him is getting more and more aggressive.

Never met an Armenian in my little corner of the Med, but they must be pretty shameless to keep a traitor and coward like Pashinyan as their leader after such mega humiliation and defeat. Just saying!
