On May 6, the Free Syrian Army (FSA) in the northern Homs countryside pocket handed over at least two Chinese-made FN-6 man portable air defense systems (MANPADs) to the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) under the reconciliation agreement, which was reached on May 2. According to local observers, this type of the MANPADs was supplied to the FSA in 2014 by Qatar that had acquired them from Sudan.

FSA fighters also handed over two Soviet-made Konkurs and Metis anti-tank guided missile (ATGM) launchers and an RPG-29 anti-tank rocket launcher. These weapons were likely captured from the SAA as early as 2012.

The withdrawal of the radical militants from northern Homs is expected to begin on May 7, while the date of the reopening of the Hama-Aleppo highway is yet to be announced.

“Free Syrian Army (FSA) in the northern Homs countryside pocket handed over at least two Chinese-made FN-6 man portable air defense systems (MANPADs)”

FSA being funded by the Chinese? LOL

Michał Hunicz

BS. It is possible that these Chinese weapons were earlier delivered to the SAA.

velociraptor

If were american weapons, you would be theferist who call: USA funded….

You all are soooo primitive with this double gauge.

headhunter888

I see velociraptor escaped from the institution yet again. Don’t worry Michal, I will call the men in white coats and they should be here soon. Sorry for the inconvenience…

Southtard is full of shit

Mortal

You are wrong, you judgmental, ignorant piece of excrement. You should know that a lot of countries with Soviet/Russian ties have/had huge supplies of weapons, Bulgaria and Libya for example. A small search will show you that weapons from these countries were exported en masse to the ME battlegrounds systematically. Especially when Gaddafi was removed, the allies came across a huge stockpile. Anyway, most of the weapons entered Syria through Turkey, less through Iraq, Jordan and Israel to arm ISIS, Kurds and “moderate” jihadi opposition. https://www.globalresearch.ca/the-us-supplies-weapons-to-al-qaeda-in-syria-via-bulgaria/5588294

Are you even reading the article?

“”””””””””””””” According to LOCAL OBSERVERS, this type of the MANPADs was supplied to the FSA in 2014 by Qatar that had acquired them from Sudan.”””””””””””””

Southtard is basing an investigation on a local observer? Some local trash says “Oh yeah this pile of shit came from Qatar who bought it from Sudan?”

A local observer said “Your mom is a whore!” LOL Believe that….

World_Eye

So if its Chinese weapon then must come from then right, LOL you are really a kid aren’t you. Have you ever heard about WEAPONS ARMS SELLS from a country to a country, I guess you didn’t. Usually bigger countries that have weapons on bigger scale they are selling them, an export of arms selling. Chinese sells to Africans, Russians sells to All Middle east, US sells to whole Europe and many more etc etc etc. LMAO

“FSA fighters also handed over two Soviet-made Konkurs …….. These weapons were likely captured from the SAA as early as 2012.”

They could have also been supplied by the U.S. , as many were :

‘Purple Shovel was also tasked by the Pentagon with acquiring 700 Russian-designed Konkurs missiles for the Syria ‘rebels’……’

https://www.sott.net/article/361083-Leaked-Documents-Expose-How-US-and-Gulf-Allies-Send-Weapons-to-Terrorists-Under-Diplomatic-Cover

The idea that the rebels have certain types of weapons and the SAA has other types is ridiculous on its face. The weapons market is an open bazaar in the ME , and if you’ve got the cash , you can get anything you want short of nukes. And the rebels got the cash whenever it was needed , if not by theft and/or extortion , from their wealthy benefactors like the U.S. and S.A.

AJ

The original buyer in an arms deal is not necessarily the end user – the article states they were supplied by Qatar who got them from Sudan who likely aquired them from China. Who knows how many middle men & corrupt officials were involved in the chain.

Shahna

And THAT is what The West calls “The Moderate Opposition?”

Then all I can say is – I wish the same “Moderate Opposition” upon themselves; their peoples, their cities.

Jamil Abdin

I like to be moderate opposition in Europe, if someone give me those toys as a gift.

Rob

Salman, Trump and May are the godfathers of all terrorists Israel, ISIS, SDF etc….
