Following liberation of Haydariyah, Syrian government forces have set control of the al-Sakhour Neighborhood of Aleppo city.
With liberation of al-Sakhour, Sheikh Khizir became the last militant-held area in northeern part of Aleppo city. This area is now fully encircled by government forces and will be likely liberated in the coming hours.
De-facto, northern Aleppo fell into hands of the Syrian army.
Ten districts taken for only 2 days – It is impressive.Syrian army have the momentum – dont stop.I want to see what will happen in the Southern part.
I’m kind of optimistic too, but “momentum” is a very fragile concept in urban operations. Let’s say I’ll celebrate when the last rats are purged from the whole city.
I suspect a mop up operation will occur in the liberated areas. Rest, Resupply etc etc No point fighting on to many fronts, secure what they have gained first.
it really depends on the objectives the advance was tailored for and the assets committed to it. We don’t have enough public information to ascertain how far they ‘ll go, but mop ups are likely, if the jihadists did not basically surrender en masse.
the remaining jihadists are now preparing to meet their 72
..at the behest of an SAA T-72 ♡♡♡
this was GOOD!!!! XD
72 horny virgin men that all look like Ron Jeremy.
They could only hold up for so long without reinforcements and logistics….crumbling
