The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and its allies have secured the entire northern and northwestern outskirts of Aleppo’s city center.
Pro-governments sources said late on February 16 that the army and its allies are now combing the newlly-liberated areas. The army imposed control of several key towns there like Anadan, Haritan, Kafr Hamra, Yaqiz al-Adas and Kafr Bassin.
The few remaining militants in northern and northwestern Aleppo are now fleeing the region to the nearby governorate of Idlib.

In the morning, al-Qaeda-affiliated Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) and Turkish-backed factions launched a large-scale counter-attack against the SAA in western Aleppo in a last ditch effort to hold onto the region. However, the attack was repelled with the militants sustaining catastrophic losses.
The failure of the attack has apparently led to a state of chaos within the militants. This resulted in a full collapse once the army began advancing from several directions.
A major celebration is now taking place in Aleppo city. The locals, who have been targeted by rockets and mortars from the city’s northern and northwestern outskirts for years, are taking to the streets to cheer for the Syrian military and its allies.

And therefore, we need to spread the truth, and fight MSM, to bring this truth to our fellow compatriots, so they too can see behind the criminal narrative. NATO countries are just puppets for the US, sadly. Besides Turkey, which is no puppet or victim, but as criminal and imprialistic as the US MIC and deep state. But if we could spread the truth to most of our fellow NATO compatriots, all that criminal narratives would break down. And that is what we need to do. Even more, and even faster.

There is still hard fighting to do I think, as the US, NATO and the Turks are too dumb to slink away quietly, as all of them are drunk from drinking their cheap Home Brewed Hubris.
True Florian. It will take some years still. But now, with Russia back at not appeasing Erdogan, the tide has turned. NATO and their allies in this criminal enterprise will still try to change the development. But they are now openly showing themselves as impotent to do so. The Kurds are now more and more changing sides, even though that too will take some time. And ofc Turkey will not leave Idlib Afrin and North Syria willingly. But the tide has turned. Russia is banking again on its strength, and the god damned Idlib deal era is now over. Even though Russia will still throw Erdogan some face saving bone now and then, it will not repeat the appeasement failures.
And this, IMHO is the pivotal turning point. We will still need patience, but sooner or later, the end will come.
I hope it will not take too many years. As you say though, NATO are a stubborn organisation and stubborn people are not the most intelligent. Forceful as an ox perhaps, but with no reasoning other than the will to use force.
I recall saying to a friend many years ago that NATO was only able to defeat weak nations. We had an argument about that, or rather he argued and I said ‘ We will see what NATO is made of when their opponent has airpower ,nuclear weapons and the ability to shoot back.
My friend was a colonel at the time. We still exchange Christmas cards :)
