Pyotr Velikiy is the Kirov-class nuclear-powered battlecruiser. It’s the flagship of Russia’s Northern Fleet. The Russian designation of Pyotr Velikiy is “heavy missile cruiser”, but Western defense expects use the term “battlecruiser”.
