Nuclear Terrorism: Head Of Ukrainian Military Intelligence Confessed Kiev Attacked Zaporozhie NPP

The Kiev regime has consistently denied that its military has ever attacked or shelled the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, military actions on the territory of which would threaten the world with another catastrophe. However, as happens with all the lies of Kiev, the head of Ukrainian military intelligence finally revealed the truth, bluntly stating that Ukrainian special forces had launched at least three attacks on the largest nuclear power plant in Europe in order to capture it.

The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (GUR), Kirill Budanov, can be considered one of the most odious talking heads of Kiev, who, because of his desire for glory, is constantly discrediting the Ukrainian authorities and the military, thereby setting up the Western patrons of the Kiev regime.

This time, he publicly declared that Ukrainian special forces made three attempts to attack and capture the Zaporozhye NPP.

The head of the GUR said that the first attempt was made in August 2022. Ukrainian servicemen crossed the Kakhovka water reservoir on civilian boats and landed on the eastern bank of the Dnieper. They attempted to create a foothold for the further ground operations and the attack on the city of Energodar and the Zaporozhie NPP located on the bank of the water reservoir. The operation failed and Ukrainian special forces were destroyed by the Russian military.

Ukrainian troops launched two more operations in an attempt to land on the eastern bank of the Dnieper and attack the Zaporozhye NPP. According to Budanov, the last of these attempts involved several hundred servicemen, including the commander of the Ukrainian “foreign legion” Vadim Popik, as well as foreign mercenaries, including from New Zealand.

Budanov complained that the Russian military brought heavy equipment to the shore, that’s why the Ukrainian special forces were destroyed and retreated.

In an attempt to find at least some victories in the failed operations, Budanov concluded that the experience of such ‘naval operations’ turned out to be useful for similar operations in other places. He likely meant the failed attempts of Ukrainian forces to gain footholds on the eastern bank of the Dnieper river in the Kherson region.

Moscow did not leave Kiev’s testimonies unanswered and called on the Western population to wake up and realise the threat Kiev is posing to them:

Budanov’s confession should be a ‘cold shower’ for the UN, whose representatives ignored Ukrainian attacks and have been saying for all these months that they “cannot determine the direction of the strike on the station.”

Budanov’s confession should bring out of hypnotic sleep the population of NATO countries, who were inspired by the NATO regimes that Russia was creating threats to nuclear facilities and threatening to use nuclear weapons.

The Russian Foreign Ministry has repeatedly stated that Zelensky’s regime uses the nuclear power plant as a “dirty nuclear weapon” and blackmails Europeans with it. Russia provided all the data to confirm the shelling of the NPP by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Everything we have talked about will continue to be confirmed.

The Russian side reported on the destruction of Ukrainian assault groups in the area of the NPP more than once. On September 1 last year, the Russian Defense Ministry said that two sabotage groups of up to 60 people on seven boats landed 3 km from the station and “attempted to seize the power plant.” On the same day, an attempt to land the APU troops on two self-propelled barges was repelled.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, on October 19, 2022, the AFU deployed 37 boats with military personnel, in another attack on the eastern bank of the Kakhovsky reservoir. As a result, the Ukrainian side lost more than 90 servicemen and 14 boats, and the others were scattered by artillery fire in the waters of the Kakhovsky reservoir.

The NPP was constantly shelled by Ukrainian drones and artillery, but Kiev attempted to blame Russia for the attacks. IAEA experts have been present at the NPP since September 1, 2022 after the first visit of the agency’s Director General Rafael Grossi to the station.

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu has previously explained that the Kiev regime seeks to create the threat of a nuclear catastrophe by the ongoing fire at the Zaporozhye NPP in order to assure the international community to secure the area and force the Russian military to abandon the station.

Meanwhile, the Russian military is securing the IAEA mission at the Zaporozhie NPP, while Ukrainian forces attempt more and more provocations. On October 3, Russian forces secured the rotation of the IAEA observers; but during the inspection of the road, Russian servicemen discovered unexploded foreign-made ammunition. It was discovered in the immediate vicinity of the NPP as a result of the constant shelling from the Ukrainian side.

During the IAEA rotation at the end of August, the Ukrainian side staged a provocation “by using means simulating ammunition explosions on the way of the inspectors.” However, this did not entail any consequences, the mission at the NPP was successfully changed.

Unfortunately Budanov’s confessions and Russian appeals to the international community are unlikely to bring any results. Meanwhile, the threat of new Ukrainian attacks remain.

On late September, the AFU withdrew several well-trained units from the Zaporozhie region. Some of them were transfered to the Kherson region where the AFU are expected to attempt large-scaled attacks across the Dnieper in the near future. The Zaporozhie NPP remains one of the possible directions of Ukrainian attacks.

Destruction of the Kakhovskay dam by the Ukrainian military in June was aimed to pave the way for Ukrainian offensive across the shallowed river.

Moreover, in August the British government also reported that British instructors trained about 900 Ukrainian marines, from which, they planned to create special purpose groups. The training was conducted by instructors from the 42nd and 47th commando divisions and the official document of the British government says that Ukrainian servicemen were preparing for operations using small boats.

While Ukrainian forces are currently attempting to gain footholds on the islands in the Kherson region, the upcoming attacks on the Zaporozhie NPP are also awaited. There is little military sense in the seizure of the Zaporozhye NPP and the city of Energodar, since they are not strategically important for the further offensive. However, the terrorist Kiev regime may gain advantage creating the nuclear threat and taking the local population as hostages.

The disaster at the nuclear power plant will have horrific consequences for the large region, including for European countries. If the backup diesel generators and mobile pumps fail and the reactors collapse, radioactive substances will be released into the atmosphere and create the largest nuclear power plant in Europe, which will then spread for hundreds of kilometers.
