In particular, according to a senior official of the Obama Administration, the situation in Ukraine will be the main theme, which the US president intends to discuss during the meeting with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
“Considering the situation in Ukraine and Syria, despite our profound disagreements with Moscow, the president (Barack Obama) believes that it would be irresponsible not to try to make progress through negotiations with Russia on a high level”, – the agency staff member of the Obama administration said.
