Oil Depots Burning All Over Ukraine (Videos)

On the night of February 27, the Ukrainian Armed Forces shelled the village of Rovenki with rockets. Despite destroying civilian settlements, Ukrainian forces launched a missile attack on an oil depot located in the town in the LPR. A large fire broke out.

According to the footage, the Tochka-U missile was used to destroy the oil depot. According to the LPR People’s Militia, eight fuel tanks with a volume of about 5 thousand liters were damaged. No injuries were reported.

Another attack on an oil depot was reported by the DPR late on February 26. The UAF hit an oil depot on 9 Neftyanaya Street in the Kirovsky district of the city of Donetsk. A missile hit the territory of the facility, but depots were not inflamed.

The oil depot was attacked the Tochka-U missile, which was shoot down by the air defense of the DPR People’s Militia. Fuel tanks were damaged, oil flows into the ground.

On the same night, the town of Vasilkov in the Kiev region was reportedly targeted with two rocket strikes. One of the rockets hit the local oil depot located near a military base, according to the mayor of the town. Vasilkov is located about 20 km southwest of Kiev.

The speaker of the State Emergency Service of the Kiev region Victoria Ruban assured that there is no threat to life for people. People were not evacuated from the nearby area. The State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine called on citizens to close windows.
