On November 21, warplanes of the US-led coalition carried out several airstrikes with internationally prohibited white phosphorus bombs on the ISIS-held town of Hajin in the middle Euphrates River Valley, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).
“Warplanes of the international coalition led by the U.S. carried out airstrikes with white phosphorus bombs on residential areas in Hajin, in the southeastern Deir Ezzor countryside, killing and injuring many civilians,” local sources told the SANA.
The exact number of casualties was not revealed. However, the SANA said that over 100 civilians were killed in the US-led coalition bombing on the Euphrates Valley during the last seven days only.
This was not the first time the US-led coalition is accused of using international prohibited weapons during its operation in the Euphrates Valley. Last month, several people were reportedly killed and injured when coalition warplanes dropped white phosphorus bombs on residential areas in the valley. Back then, Syrian and Russian officials called for an international investigation of this incident.
Some sources say that the use of such weapons shows that the US-led coalition is desperate to neutralize remaining ISIS fighters in the Euphrates Valley, where its proxies have failed to advance so far.
Proof the UN has no idea what they’re doing and South Front is naively reposting slander: white phosphorus and napalm technically aren’t banned as long as their not directed at civilian targets. There is a bit of gray area with the nature of an urban battle, but SANA always (and I mean ALWAYS) claims that all the deaths in US strikes were civilians even if the city is controlled by ISIS and SANA obviously has no way of knowing that.
It is false that the US fight ISIS, they fight the Syrian Arab population who want to eradicate from the area assigned to the Kurds, as in Rakka.

Fuck Raqqa! Those assholes told the SAA to leave town so it wouldn’t get destroyed by fighting the rebels. Then they told the rebels the same thing when ISIS was rushing their way. Then Raqqa began begging for anyone to rescue them from ISIS once they had their fill of them.

Perhaps it is you who has no idea. US is an invading force in Syria and every death should be claimed as civilian (specifically in the absence of concrete knowledge), as an invading force by design does not prioritize civilian safety!
There is no grey area particularly when used against a civilian population as is the case in the Euphrates Valley. USAF & RAF know that their phosphorus bombs are not accurate (in the sense that any bombing run will accurately target) and drop them into the midst of urban areas knowing full well that even if IS or other “targets” may be affected by what is within the munitions, fact is that the entire surrounding civilian population will also be affected. Civilian Populations ARE being affected here and accordingly the actions of USAF & RAF are prohibited actions and utterly illegal under International Law. Where now the Washington Post and NY Times, Fox & CNN & ABC & NBC and all the others lining up to call for action against Syria whenever militant Islamists set off false-flag chemical weapons attacks within Syria?
Russia and Syria have never used white phosphorus. The US has done it repeatedly and always on populated areas beginning with Falluja. Israel another criminal state like the US did it in Gaza. The Pentagon does not fight ISIS like Russia, Syria and Iran, never bomb the columns of armed trucks, US helicopters always carry the encircled terrorists to safety. The Americans have the sole purpose of destroying Syrian cities inhabited by Arabs like Raqqa to make room for the only Kurds, dominated by them.

The Convention on Certain Conventional Weapons prohibits the use of incendiary weapons against civilians (already forbidden by the Geneva Conventions) or in civilian areas. So I guess you are wrong.

The US coalition is desperate, they Kurds are punishing the US relentlessly and squeezing them like lemons, they won’t fight for the US at Hajin and are now letting everyone else do the dying for a change. The 1700 Arab and Christian SDF that were reportedly shipped in to reinforce the existing SDF here may not have been reinforcements at all, they may have been replacements for the Kurds that are on strike, that would help explain the difficulty they’re having there at the moment containing Isis. Yes up until now I’ve only found the one lonely report about Christians being sent to Hajin to fight, and no others at all, but now I have, now the Jerusalem Post also has an article confirming it. — The reinforcements included a series of units, including the SDF special forces – but also members of the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) and fighters from a mostly Christian unit known as the Syriac Military Council. They were supposed to support the primarily Arab Deir ez-Zor Military Council (DMC) of the SDF, which has been leading the fight in Hajin. — The reason we’re not hearing about it is because Trump doesn’t want us to see Christians being captured, tortured and killed on TV, they’ll be like a lightning rod to the Muslim extremists when they find out they’re there. They’ve been there for 3 weeks already but none of the media [except for one source] has said a thing about it until now, I’ll bet they’re being kept as an absolute last resort force and haven’t seen any fighting yet, they might have to soon though, it’s not looking real good here for the US.
