According to the opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP), the Turkish government is not doing anything to capture ISIS jihadists despite knowing their exact locations in Turkey.
On Firday, CHP’s lawmaker, Eren Erdem, leaked documents to the press allegedly containing phone call transcripts of prominent ISIS member Ilhami Bali. The call transcripts have allredgeldy been obtained from Ankara’s security forces and argue that Jihadist have access to unfettered movement, medical treatment and accommodation in Turkey.
According to the lawmaker, the wiretapped extremists smuggled guns, flame throwers and ssault rifles across the border.
