Russian fighters won another outstanding victory in the war against the Ukrainian army. On March 24, militants of Ukrainian special operations forces and nationalist battalion attempted to break through the Russian border in a new direction in the Belgorod region, but they were back by fearless Russian border guards. 25 Russian soldiers repelled an attack by a group of 150 of the most trained and ardent forces of the Ukrainian army.
Judging by the course of the Ukrainian offensive in the Belgorod region, the initial goal of the Ukrainian attacks is to reach and cut the road east of the border to further expand the foothold on Russian territory and possibly even launch assault on the central town in the region, Krasnaya Yaruga.
After a week of fruitless fighting near the village of Demidovka, the Ukrainian military tried to bypass the Russian defenses from the north to break through to the village of Popovka. Russian military sources revealed some details of the outstanding battle.
The first clashes in the area were reported at about 2 p.m. local time. There is an important stronghold near the village, where initially the defense was held by ten Russian border guards from the reserve of the Border Service of the FSB of Russia in Primorsky region. They were later reinforced by 15 soldiers of the 128th Brigade of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. The Russian fighters repelled the attacks of about 150 soldiers of the 8th regiment of the Special Operation Forces of Ukraine and the Aidar national battalion. Ukrainian forces attacked in several waves in groups of up to 45 people, but were unable to break through Russian fighters. Suffering losses without any result, the Ukrainian military began shelling the stronghold with tanks. The stronghold was destroyed, but the Russians continued to resist. The fighting reportedly lasted until the morning of March 25.
Various military sources from the battlefield confirm that Popovka remains under the full control of the Russian military. Despite enemy fire, the debris of the destroyed stronghold was dismantled. The wounded Russian soldiers were evacuated. There are losses.
The victory of the Russians in an unequal battle is another clear signal of the decline in the offensive potential of the Ukrainian army after numerous heavy defeats on different fronts. However, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to impose fighting on the Popovka-Demidovka-Grafovka line in the Belgorod region. The Ukrainian command is throwing its well-armed and trained units of the special forces, experienced assault units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as mercenaries from the International Legion of Ukraine into border battles. Russian forces are destroying scattered groups of Ukrainian militants, who are mainly hiding in the forest.
According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the losses of the Ukrainian army over the past 24 hours amounted to up to 50 military personnel, two armored combat vehicles, a car and two artillery pieces.
idiots.. russia should have learned by now the west won’t stop until they destroy themselves and take the rest of the world with them ..!
this is why i talk so bad about putin, why is he allowing the border regions to be so thinly defended? twenty-five soldiers should never have been pitted against one-hundred & fifty soldiers. it’s actually no wonder why the russians have made so little progress in the war.
moron amerikunt inferior stupified ugly
unequal fight? the russians know very well that ukronato will use every opportunity for a cross-border attack. a prepared defensive line with a sufficient number of soldiers should have been waiting for them there.
ukraine plays chess, where it tries where there is a weak defense and tries to break through. even though the situation is already in its own part of chess and almost checkmate. i would bomb kiev to the ground myself. japan surrendered like that.
no long, exhausting battles for years, in which thousands of own people die. five days of continuous aerial bombardment. towards the end, with increasing missiles. warning to civilians in advance.
or in russians case hundreds of thousands, little vlad should have asked netanyahu on how to fight a war, because literally out of all israel enemies no one is left standing!
akhmat sila 🫡 🇷🇺
gerasimov is not fast.
so 25 brave heroes fight 250 ukros while 2 million russian reservists and 10 full divisions in russia bored sitting around and scratching theyr cohones? sorry, but since 3 fcking years no one can explain this great ‘strategy”
with the dwarf in charge, one thing is certain: this war will last another five years or end in a draw. that’s the best the pathetic man can achieve.
moscow knew about the ukrainian troop buildup for at least a week. there is no reason for moscow to sacrifice russian soldiers in unequal battles.
that’s why i always say i would hate to be born russian! poo-tin and his rich oligarchs could care less about the average russian soldier on the battlefield. i bet each one of those twenty five soldiers were all severely wounded holding of several waves of 45 soldiers each.
an average russian is better than 5 “ukro special whatever,”, because ukris are not russians anymore, but simple nato cannon fodder….
our peasants are stupid ugly inferior—we tell them inject covid poison they submissively wear mask swallow mulatto semen beg for burger
