Over 1,000 ISIS members with battle tanks, artillery pieces and other equipment have entered Syria from Iraq, the Russian Ministry of Defense said on Friday.
According to Chief of the Main Operational Directorate of the Russian General Staff Col. Gen. Sergey Rudskoy, the terrorists came from the provinces of Anbar and Nineveh.
The 1,000-strong group of terrorists took part in a large-scale assault of 3,000 terrorists against government forces in central Syria.
The general added that 450 of these terrorists carried out an attack against Syrian government forces from the area of At Tanf controlled by US-led coalition forces. Separately, mobile groups of this ISIS force attacked the Sukhna-Deir Ezzor highway.
The attacks were repelled by government forces backed up by the Russian Aerospace Forces.
Rudskoy added that government forces are “successfully” developing momentum near Deir Ezzor city.
“Assault units of General Hasan Sukhel with the support of Russian air forces have completely liberated the right bank of the Euphrates to the north-west and west of the city, establishing control over the area of 4,600 square kilometers,” Rudskoy said.
The general added that Russian forces pay special attention to eliminating of top terrorists across Syria adding that “since early October, 31 of them have been killed.”
Of course, the US had nothing to do with this, right?

The Kurdish referendum had most to do with it though, as it forced the Iraqi government to stop fighting ISIS and refocus on the Kurds.
Of course they are coming from Iraq equipped with artilery and tanks, and US Air Force fails to notice these columns. It is quite likely these ISIS units were equipped in Iraq by US operatives, and their efforts in Syria are being directed from Al Tanf.
It is time to exterminate more vermin, these vermin are mercenaries most likely employed by the axis of evil to increase ISIS fighting capability.

Shame they were not eliminated the moment they crossed the border. Sounds like a missed op for a turkey shoot. Better luck to come. Another 1000 to kill and battle tanks to shoot up. Sounds like great target practice to me. Sooner the better. Wipe this scourge to humanity off the planet, Mr Presidents.
