Russian Aerospace Forces warplanes have carried out more than 230 airstrikes on ISIS hideouts in Syria’s central region since the beginning of December, the London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported on December 29.

The last two waves of airstrikes, which took place on December 28 and 29, targeted the outskirts of the town of al-Resafa in the southern countryside of Raqqa.

According to the SOHR, the Russian airstrikes destroyed natural caves and dens which were used by ISIS terrorists as hideouts.

ISIS cells carried out a series of successful hit-and-run attacks against Syrian government forces and their allies in the southern countryside of Raqqa as well as in the northern and western countryside of Deir Ezzor early on in December. Many civilians and service members were killed.

The terrorists ceased their attacks as a result of intense Russian airstrikes and two large-scale combing operations by Syrian government forces.

Over the past year, ISIS cells managed to expand their operations in central Syria. However, they were pushed away from all key urban centers and strategic roads in the region by government forces and their allies.

How refreshing to see the Russian Aerospace Forces continuing their masterful work , day in and day out, quietly and efficiently, making a Difference for the Good of the world by removing these insane murderers from the face of the planet. God Bless them on their way.
