The United States military carried out more than 40 strikes against areas controlled by the Houthis (Ansar Allah) in Yemen on March 28 morning, in one of the most intense attacks since President Donald Trump ordered the resumption of operations against the group earlier in the month.
Al-Masirah TV, which is run by the Houthis, said that eight strikes hit the capital, Sanaa, and nearby area. The news channel also reported seven strikes on the province of Sadaa, the heartland of the Houthis, in addition to three in the province of al-Hodeidah on the Red Sea, three in the province of Al-Jawaf, 19 in the province of Omran and four in the Ma’rib province in the heart of the country.
The extent of the damage and possible casualties remain unclear, but initial reports by Yemeni media described at least seven people being hurt in the strikes in Sanaa alone.
Al-Masirah acknowledged that Sanaa International Airport, which includes a military section, and communication networks in Omran’s al-Jabal al-Aswad mountainous area were struck. The nature of the other targets are yet to be revealed.
The U.S. Central Command, which is responsible for operations in the Middle East, has not yet provided any details about the strikes.
A day earlier, the Houthis fired two ballistic missiles at central Israel and claimed to target the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman and other warships of the U.S. Navy in the Red Sea with ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as drones
The U.S. military resumed strikes against Houthi-controlled areas in Yemen on March 15 on orders from Trump, who said that the large-scale operation was launched in response to the group’s renewed attacks on shipping in the Red Sea. So far, the operation has claimed the lives of 56 people, including civilians and Houthi commanders.
Earlier this week, Trump claimed that the Houthis “want peace because they’re getting the hell knocked out of them.” However, senior Houthi officials vowed that the group will continue to launch attacks in response to the Israeli war and siege on the Gaza Strip.
Neither Trump or the Houthis will likely back down from the ongoing confrontation, thus more escalation is to be expected in Yemen if the war in Gaza goes on.

all animals are equal, but some are more equal than others – george orwell . thou shall not dare challenge those who are more equal than the others, no matter what atrocities they commit against humanity.
go houthis! the world is cheering you on!🥳
while trump kills houthis for zionism the zionists create covid-19 and vaccines to kill americans and wars to bankrupt them.
a fascinating but totally idiotic conundrum for sure. they have the right ‘to bear arms’ but none of them go after the inbred rats that are shitting all over them. it’s long odds now, but if civil war does erupt there (🤞), just sit back and watch. what a fucked mess it would be.
where the americ*nts are concerned lets wish for another pearl harbor or another september 11, 2001 or poisoned water aquifers for every major city in the lower 48. another afghan-war will bankrupt the states.
chumpo throwing his toys around won’t change anything. when the genocide stops, the houthi blockade stops. yemen was already bombed into a pile of rubble by the shady wahabians over many years. all that chumpo can do is make the rubble bounce around a bit. he will start crying like a baby when one of his little battleships is sunk.
the sand-apes are being taught a painful lesson…git ’em trump!!!
heheheheh
the us congress has not declared war against yemen . mossad has hacked us signal communications . israel only has to follow gaza peace agreement and it’s over . the world is watching closely .
yemen still has electricity
you gotta love the houthi death chant
